Learn more about our Knoxville real estate photography services — from HDR photos and drone imagery to 3D walkthroughs, video, booking, and delivery timelines. Here are answers to the most common questions we receive from agents and home sellers.
For the best possible results, the property should be fully prepared and 100% photo-ready before we arrive. This means the home should be clean, staged, decluttered, and arranged exactly as you want it photographed. Our photographers do not schedule extra time to move items from room to room or hide clutter between shots, so completing this ahead of time ensures we can focus entirely on creating high-quality images.
We also ask that as few people and vehicles as possible be on the property during the shoot. Ideally, the home should be completely empty—this avoids reflections in windows, improves efficiency, and allows us to work without distractions. If a homeowner or representative needs to be present, that’s perfectly fine—we simply ask that movement be minimized while we work.
A fully prepared and empty property allows us to work efficiently and intentionally, capturing the strongest angles, the cleanest lines, and the highest-quality images your listing or rental can offer.
You’re welcome to be present during the shoot, but it’s not required. In fact, most clients prefer to provide access and let us work privately. This helps maintain a clean, distraction-free environment and eliminates reflections or movement that can appear in windows, glass doors, and mirrors—especially with the ultra-wide lenses and high-dynamic-range cameras we use.
If someone does need to be onsite, we simply ask that movement be kept to a minimum and that they avoid entering rooms while we are photographing them. This ensures consistency, allows us to work efficiently, and prevents accidental reflections or shadows from appearing in the images.
We offer multiple access options for your convenience, including door codes, lockboxes, and full Supra eKey access for properties listed on the MLS. No matter the method, we always secure the home and confirm that everything is locked up before we leave.
The length of a photo shoot depends entirely on the services you’ve ordered and the size of the property. A simple 15-image photo-only session typically takes around 30 minutes, while a standard 25–40 image shoot usually falls within the 30–60 minute range.
If you’ve booked additional services—such as drone photography, a social media video, a walkthrough tour, floorplans, or a Matterport/3D scan—please plan for extended onsite time. A full media package on a larger home can take 1.5 to 2.5 hours, depending on layout, lighting, and the complexity of the property.
Our goal is to work efficiently while still giving every space the careful attention it needs. Homes that are clean, decluttered, staged, and empty typically photograph faster and deliver the highest-quality results.
Weather in East Tennessee can shift quickly, but the good news is that we can complete most photo sessions even on cloudy or overcast days. We provide complimentary sky replacements on all exterior images, ensuring bright, attractive blue skies regardless of the conditions at the time of the shoot. This means you never have to delay listing your property while waiting on perfect weather.
That said, a little sunshine does go a long way—clear days typically produce warmer, more vibrant images, especially for properties with mountain views or outdoor amenities. If timing is flexible and you prefer to wait for ideal conditions, we’re happy to reschedule.
However, if you need to get your listing on the market quickly, we can absolutely capture the property immediately and deliver clean, polished images with enhanced skies. The only limitation is drone work—heavy rain, lightning, or high winds may require us to delay aerial shots for safety and FAA compliance.
We always prioritize both safety and image quality, and we’ll collaborate with you to choose the best approach based on your timeline.
We provide what we call “light staging,” which includes turning on lights, adjusting blinds, straightening pillows, removing small items, and making minor touch-ups to improve presentation. These adjustments are quick, simple, and designed to enhance the natural look of each room without delaying the shoot.
However, we do not move furniture, rearrange rooms, hide clutter, or relocate items from one room to another during the session. Our photographers do not book additional time for heavy staging, and stopping the shoot to clear or re-stage multiple rooms dramatically slows the process and affects scheduling for the rest of the day. Because we shoot with wide-angle, high-dynamic-range equipment that captures every detail, it’s essential that the home be fully prepared and exactly the way you want it photographed before we arrive.
If your property needs more extensive staging, we’re happy to connect you with trusted professional stagers who can prepare the home for maximum visual impact. Proper preparation always leads to stronger images and a smoother, more efficient shoot.
Your edited photos will be delivered the following business day, typically in the late afternoon or evening. Our workflow includes overnight upload and processing, followed by a thorough manual quality check to ensure every image meets our standards before being released. This attention to detail is what allows us to consistently deliver clean, polished, professional results.
For clients who need images sooner, we do offer Same-Day Delivery for an additional fee. This option prioritizes your project in our editing queue and delivers your photos the same day the shoot is completed.
If your order includes additional services—such as drone photography, a social media video, a walkthrough tour, floorplans, or a Matterport/3D scan—those items may require extra processing time. Turnaround times for every service are clearly listed on our website.
No matter which option you choose, you’ll receive accurate updates and a predictable, professional delivery schedule.
Yes. All invoices must be paid before any photos, videos, or digital assets can be downloaded. This policy keeps the process simple, consistent, and fair for both our clients and our photographers. You’ll receive an automated notification as soon as your media is ready, along with a secure payment link. Once payment is completed, your download access is unlocked instantly.
This approach eliminates delays, ensures a smooth workflow, and allows us to focus entirely on delivering high-quality results instead of managing collections or follow-up billing. Most clients appreciate the streamlined process—it keeps everything fast, predictable, and hassle-free.
Yes — you have full control over how many photos you receive. We offer clear photo-count options (15, 25, and 40 images) so you can select the perfect amount for your listing or rental property. Smaller homes often look best with 15–25 photos, while larger residences, luxury cabins, and STR properties typically benefit from 40 or more images to capture every space and feature.
Our photo counts are thoughtfully structured to keep your listing visually compelling without overwhelming potential buyers or guests. You can also add additional images to any package at a flat per-photo rate if you need more coverage. This flexible system ensures you’re paying only for what you truly need while still having access to a full range of high-quality visuals.
If you’re unsure which option is right for your property, we’re happy to offer guidance based on size, layout, and marketing goals.
Each package is designed to match a different marketing goal and property type, giving you the flexibility to choose the level of exposure you want for your listing or rental.
The Standard Package includes professional photos and drone images—ideal for MLS listings, smaller homes, and properties where clean, accurate representation is the priority. This package provides everything needed to present the home clearly and attractively online.
The Plus Package adds a polished, vertical social media video to your photos and drone images. This short 30–60 second clip is optimized for platforms like Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and Airbnb/VRBO, dramatically increasing engagement and helping your property stand out in fast-scrolling digital environments.
The Premium Package is our most comprehensive option. It includes everything in the Plus Package—photos, drone images, and a social video—along with a smooth, stabilized walkthrough tour of the entire home. This guided video highlights layout, flow, and key features, making it the ideal choice for high-end listings, luxury cabins, and STRs where storytelling and visual immersion directly influence bookings and buyer interest.
Whether you’re marketing a starter home or a luxury retreat, each package provides a clear, scalable upgrade path to help you get the exact level of exposure your property deserves.
Yes — drone photos are included in all of our packages except the Basic tier, and they are one of the most effective ways to showcase a property, especially here in the Smoky Mountains. Aerial images highlight views, land layout, access points, nearby attractions, and the overall setting in a way ground-level photos simply cannot.
All drone flights are conducted legally and responsibly. We are FAA-certified, insured, and compliant with all federal and local regulations, including controlled airspace and no-fly zones that occasionally apply near airports, helipads, and certain government properties. In rare cases where your location requires special authorization, we handle that process for you or advise on the safest alternative.
Drone photography is perfectly legal for most residential listings, cabins, and STR properties, and it dramatically increases online visibility. If you’re unsure about your specific address, we can quickly check the airspace and let you know exactly what’s possible before the shoot.
Large homes, luxury cabins, estates, and properties with multiple structures—as well as STRs with extensive amenities—often require significantly more coverage than a standard residential shoot. In these cases, it’s very common for us to deliver 60–70+ images to properly capture all interior spaces, exterior areas, views, and unique features without leaving out important “money shots.”
For these types of properties, we typically recommend starting with a 40-photo package and adding additional images as needed. This allows us to showcase guest houses, lofts, game rooms, theater rooms, multiple decks, bunk spaces, outdoor living areas, and any other structures or amenities that are essential for marketing the home.
Drone photography becomes extremely valuable for larger properties as well, helping highlight land layout, access points, privacy, views, and the relationship between multiple buildings. Many clients also choose to enhance coverage with walkthrough videos, social media videos, floorplans, or 3D tours so future buyers or STR guests can fully understand the scale and flow of the property.
If you’re unsure how many images you need, we’re happy to guide you. Our goal is to ensure every important space is photographed intentionally so your property makes the strongest possible impact online.
Yes. We offer detailed 2D floorplans and immersive 3D walkthrough tours, both of which are powerful tools for marketing homes and short-term rentals. Our floorplans provide accurate room dimensions and a clear visual layout, helping buyers and guests understand how the home is arranged before they ever step inside.
For properties that benefit from a deeper sense of space—such as multi-level homes, luxury cabins, or STRs with unique layouts—we also offer interactive 3D tours that allow viewers to virtually walk through the property. These tours significantly increase online engagement and can boost both booking rates and buyer interest.
Both services pair extremely well with our photo and video packages, giving you a complete visual toolkit that appeals to MLS buyers and Airbnb/VRBO guests alike. If you’re unsure which option is the best fit for your goals, we’re happy to recommend the right solution based on your property and marketing strategy.
All of our photos undergo a full professional editing process before delivery, including color correction, exposure blending, lens correction, window detail recovery, and sky enhancement where appropriate. This ensures your images arrive looking clean, polished, and ready for marketing without the need for additional adjustments.
If you have a specific request after delivery—such as removing an object, correcting a reflection, adjusting colors, or refining a particular image—we’re happy to help. Minor adjustments are typically included at no charge, while more advanced retouching (for example: removing cars, decluttering, repairing walls, or replacing grass) may require an additional editing fee. These services are handled on a case-by-case basis to ensure realistic results and maintain our quality standards.
If you see something in the photos that needs attention, simply let us know. We want to make sure your final images represent the property as accurately and attractively as possible.
Yes — your purchase includes a full marketing license to use the photos, videos, floorplans, and media for promoting the specific property that was photographed. This license covers all major listing platforms, including MLS, Zillow, Realtor.com, Airbnb, VRBO, booking sites, social media, print materials, and your personal website. You’re free to use the images anywhere you need as long as they are promoting that particular property.
The only restriction is that the license is non-transferable. This means the media cannot be given, sold, or passed on to future homeowners, builders, contractors, management companies, or other agents without purchasing a new license. This protects both your investment and our intellectual property, ensuring that usage remains fair and consistent.
In short: you can market the home anywhere you choose, as much as you choose — the license simply stays tied to the one property it was created for. If additional parties or future owners want to use the images, we can easily issue a new license for them.
Absolutely. We know this industry can be unpredictable—cleaners run late, guests don’t check out on time, weather shifts, contractors show up unexpectedly—so we make rescheduling as easy and flexible as possible. You can adjust your appointment any time without any fees or penalties.
The fastest and most accurate way to reschedule is through our website. Our calendars update in real time, and booking online ensures you’re selecting from the most up-to-date availability without delays or back-and-forth messaging.
We never charge rescheduling fees or cancellation fees. Things happen, and we don’t believe in punishing clients for circumstances that are often out of their control. Our goal is to make the process smooth, stress-free, and professional from start to finish.
We keep our cancellation policy simple and client-friendly. There are no cancellation fees, and you’re welcome to cancel an appointment at any time if something changes. We understand that real estate and short-term rentals can be unpredictable—cleaning delays, guest issues, last-minute repairs, weather, or homeowner schedules can all affect readiness.
If you do need to cancel, the easiest way is through our website. Our booking system updates in real time and instantly frees the appointment slot for other clients, ensuring the rest of the day stays organized. You can also reach out directly if you prefer, and we’ll take care of it for you.
Our goal is to keep the process flexible, stress-free, and fair. Life happens, properties change, and we’re here to work with you—not penalize you.
A Social Media Video is a fast-paced, vertical-format clip (30–60 seconds) designed for Instagram, Facebook Reels, TikTok, and Airbnb/VRBO. It focuses on eye-catching highlights and quick, dynamic pacing that performs extremely well on scrolling platforms. The goal is immediate visual impact — something bold, modern, and optimized for viral reach.
A Walkthrough Video, on the other hand, is crafted to feel cinematic and immersive. It’s filmed on a stabilized camera to create smooth movement and beautiful visual flow. While the sequence follows a logical order (exterior → entry → main living areas → bedrooms → unique features → outdoor spaces), the purpose isn’t to create a literal map of how to move through the home.
Instead, the focus is on emotion, atmosphere, and storytelling — presenting the home in a way that feels warm, inviting, and high-end.
Walkthrough videos are ideal for luxury cabins, STR properties, designer homes, and any listing where a more polished, cinematic presentation will influence buyers or guests. Social videos drive quick engagement; walkthroughs create emotional connection.
Both formats serve different strengths — and together, they deliver the strongest possible marketing impact
Minor retouching—such as removing small objects, straightening a picture frame, or cleaning up a distracting reflection—is often included at no charge. However, more complex edits like removing cars, hiding clutter, repairing walls, patching damaged areas, replacing grass, or digitally cleaning an entire room are considered advanced retouching and may require an additional fee.
These types of edits can be time-consuming and must be done carefully to maintain realistic, natural-looking results. Whenever possible, it’s always best to have the home fully prepared before the shoot so the images accurately reflect the property and avoid the need for heavy post-production work.
If you have something specific you want removed or corrected, just let us know before or after the shoot. We’re happy to evaluate it and provide options so you can choose what works best for your marketing goals.

Yes. We have full Supra eKey access, which allows us to enter properties securely without anyone needing to be on-site. This is especially helpful for busy agents, out-of-town owners, and short-term rental turnovers where meeting in person isn’t practical.
If the property uses a Supra lockbox, just confirm the address and we’ll handle the rest. You’re also welcome to provide additional access instructions if needed. Our goal is to make the process as smooth and convenient as possible for you.
